Bartolo Colon has more HOF votes than 7-time Gold Glove Winner Devon White.

(Colon only has a Cy Young to show. But that Cy Young is questionable because Colon beat out Johan Santana. Santana has a lower WHIP, more strikeouts, and a lower ERA than Colon that year. Colon, however, did have more wins.)

It was before the game. Not during a game.

Anyways, Randy Johnson was not the only one to kill a bird during a game. Dave Winfield did the same thing years earlier and got arrested in Canada in 1983. The charges were dropped a couple days later.

@CambodianQuizzer @McKenzieFam @Neodymium AND he was at bat when the game was postponed so the team he was on before had to pinch-hit him. HE was also behind the plate as catcher in the Same at-bat when it Restarted! So he was batter and catcher in the same at-bat.

A Diamondbacks fan won tickets to a Diamondbacks game (1 in 300,000). Before she went, she was given an offer by a company that she would win 1 million dollars if she could pick the correct player and inning to hit a grand slam. She chose the 6th inning and Jay Bell.

Eventually, the bases were loaded in the sixth inning. The person who came up to bat was Jay Bell. Bell knew that he could win the fan a million dollars. The play? Bell hit a grand slam, and the woman and her family won the money.

Tommy John made it to three World Series in his career, with the Dodgers in 1977 and 1978 and the Yankees in 1981. His team lost all three, to the Yankees, the Yankees, and the Dodgers respectively, making him play in a Dodgers-Yankees World Series 3 times and never once winning it.

Also, he has the longest career without winning a World Series.
