Exactly. I am pretty sure most of the top scores are cheaters, but I can't prove it. That's the problem with leaderboards. If only 0.1% of people cheat, it ruins it for everyone!
well I don't appear on the leaderboard but that's ok because today I got a really lousy score. Put me back on when I actually get a respectable score, please. :)
that's actually a good idea, some people will make alts, take it, figure out the order and the correct answers, and then do it on their main account and get an easy first place
It’s not that hard to get a crazy score. If you memorize the answers and you’re accurate you can get nearly 10k. I did that and I guess I’m marked a cheater?
Yesterday I got 10/10 for the first time, with a score of 9893 and I felt like I'd done it pretty quickly, given you have to read the questions and answers from scratch. Today I bombed with 6/10, but given all the talk about cheating and impossibly high scores, I took today's test a couple more times. Knowing the answers and clicking basically as instantly as I could, I got 9,963. There's just no way any score that high could be genuine for a blind attempt. The leaderboard is a fun and natural element to include, but I can understand quizmaster's frustration.
It's no fun picking through the leaderboards and trying to find those that violated the guidelines.
Proud of my score :)
- dont show answers till the day is done (or scores for that matter)
(Also, to all the cheaters here, please stop ruining the fun for everyone else. Seriously, find something better to do.)
