What was your slowest question? Mine was the milk drinker at 976.

If anyone needs me, I can be found awkwardly claiming my clothes from the abattoir at 6905 today.

Sorry, I don't remember which was the slowest for me, but remember: an armoire is a dresser; an abattoir is a slaughterhouse.

7,850, 8/10 for me. I narrowed it down to two options on both of the ones I missed, and missed that both times! Knew the rest though.

I knew "unagi" from a "Friends" episode. Otherwise would never be able to guess. (9/10)

A big improvement on yesterday for me,, back to 9/10, 8,932

Thought I'd messed up question 1 at first because I didn't read it properly but then I saw the word ink 😂

The one that caught me out was the peloton one though, I know almost nothing about the sport and the only context in which I've heard that word is those home exercise bikes

The various mathematical uses for Greek letters that I once knew have mostly left me and never really felt like more than random symbols anyway.

Sometimes I think I should try harder to learn the Greek alphabet. The thought always passes quickly. There are more productive things to apply my aging brain to.

The subtitle of a sequel to the given title? I'm not sad that missed that one.

I missed this one also, but it is not unreasonable. I'm sure if "Chamber of Secrets" were on here, the percentage would be higher

I'm sure you're right, but that's part of the main title, isn't it?

The comments section on these quizzes is legit becoming my favourite corner of the Internet. Keep it up, you glorious nerds.

Most of these people aren't even necessarily that smart seeing as anybody can play trivia on this website, and I wouldn't call being a nerd glorious, either.

Did you know that the language Burgess invented in the book was based on Russian? In his dystopian future it is vaguely suggested that ‘nadsat’ is descended from a now-extinct race, suggesting the aftermath of nuclear war. Korova means cow, moloko means milk, droog means friend, gulava means head etc etc. For years I thought they were saying ‘horror show’ when it was supposed to be harasho, which is Russian for good.

Mrnate is right though, Jetpunk comments are some of the funniest I’ve seen anywhere on the web
