The keyboard was changed too slow people down. The old style of typewriter has the individual tyepebars going up to hit the paper. Very good typist would type so fast that they clashed the typebars into each other and possibly breaking them. The keyboard was rearranged to slow people down.
That Second World question threw me right off. Couldn't recall the definition of the term. And that's AFTER I read it three times to make sure I got the wording right.
And a little bit ambiguous. A typical pit stop is just over 20 seconds, varying due to track layout. Of that, the car is stopped for about 2.5 seconds on average (Red Bull has put up some 1.9s this year, but IIRC Sauber and Alpine have struggled to stay under 4.)
Sounds like you had no trouble with the supposed ambiguity. As I'm sure you know, when you watch F1 they report the pit stop times as the time when the car is actually stopped. Assume that knowing this is part of the question.
I did poorly today by my usual standards, 7/10. I got the Second World question after a bit of thinking but guessed wrong on the Mallory, totem poles, and F1 pit stop questions. A very tough one today, hoping this isn't foreshadowing for my pub quiz performance tonight 😂
