5/10, not that good. My 2nd day of having a question on here though! (I have questions on the daily quiz every day until and including the 30th, plus September 3, 4, and 11)
Man, that ostrich question is going to mess up a lot of 10/10s, I bet! I felt elephant was too obvious, but then the too obvious one yesterday was right. I’ll take my 8800 happily, though.
I got it because the true answer wasn't an option but Q10 is false. The oldest surviving pieces of literature are the Kesh Temple Hymn and the Instructions of Shuruppak, which predate Gilgamesh by over 300 years.
If the question was changed to ask what the oldest surviving fictional story is, then Gilgamesh would be correct.
I assume you're thinking of a Christian hymn where it's a song. The Kesh Temple Hymn on the other hand is basically a poem, it absolutely is literature.
Oh dear, 6/10 for only the second time ever, this might be my worst ever score😅 Bungled the first question and was second-guessing myself from there. Got 7-9 wrong as well. Dread to think what this has done to my average 😭😂
Wow, a lot of geography again today, but I still got a perfect. The Epic of Gilgamesh is a pre-Biblical account of the great flood. I knew ostriches' eyes were bigger than their brains. I was about to click Pythagoras, but remembered "Euclidian geometry." Anyway, fun quiz today, and I don't really mind all the geography as I suppose it can be a learning opportunity. Oh, and why are there so few comments and likes if so many people are playing?
Pretty easy this time except for the movie question, but luck was my way ;D

Was so close to a ten today.
