I was surprised by the spelling one. Is it a strange word for English speakers? In Spanish we have 'minúsculo' which means tiny and is not rare at all (and in feminine, it means not capital for a letter - a, not A).
Spanish is spelled exactly the way it is pronounced. English spelling and pronunciation differ, so people often get confused. They probably thought of the prefix 'mini' (minimum, minimize, etc).
But if it's a "valid" spelling, doesn't that mean that it is considered to be also a "correct" one? Maybe this question should be re-worded to ask for the "preferred" spelling. Although that wouldn't have helped me - I still would've missed it! :D
Preferred by who? Given 61% picked miniscule it isn't preferred by Jetpunk users, it's also a Scrabble valid word. Minuscule might have come first but plenty of words have changed spelling over time (music for example was spelt musick for centuries).
OK I definitely need to start having breakfast before I do this, because I got Minuscule wrong despite being an editor 😅 Messed up on the Europe population one too, both should have been easy if I'd been thinking clearly
I only got 7 out of 7. apparently I don't know how to spell miniscule. That's right. That's how I'm typing it. And, percentage questions are always hard. And who knew about Australia? Australians probably:)
Missed the wonder woman one tho
Maybe tomorrow!
