Sorry bubbie, you’ve got bupkes. I don’t mean to be a schlemiel and kvell, but if I schlep out my Yiddish dictionary, klutz is there! Sorry for my shtick, but today I have the chutzpah to be a kibitzer!
Fell on the last hurdle *again* 😑 Genuinely had no idea on that one, went for the odd one out but it didn't pay off 😂 Think this is my longest ever run without a 10 (edit: not quite, but it will be if I don't break the streak in the next couple of days lol)
Yeah that was my rationale too. In our defence it's a strategy that pays off a lot of the time too 😂 Plus in this case I think the correct answer would've been the last one I guessed. I think I need to brush up on my astral knowledge haha
Really mind blowing to consider that the highest estimate for a star's life is 380 Trillion years when the age of the universe so far is under 14 Billion.
Putting an Yiddish word as the answer there was a foul… actually the original Yiddish is klots, not klutz. And German has a similar word, klotz. Practically the same.
The last question is highly misleading since red dwarfs are main sequence stars, meaning there are two correct answers. Source: Master's degree in astrophysics (and also Wikipedia)
Marvin Gaye was not 27 when he died? He was 45. How could they have made such a mistake? Anyone who knows Marvin Gaye could tell he was older than 27 when he died. He was one of my favourite singers.
When I was making that question, I put Otis Redding (which died at 26) instead of Marvin Gaye, so they probably changed my question because it would've been too hard.
5000 sure seems like an awful lot, had no idea and guessed the lowest. Also never watched Rocky, maybe should've read the options though as Adrian is an unlikely distraction
7/10 after also missing the 27 Club & Nicole Kidman
I'd say "What's that?"
He'd say "It's the key that opens the garage..."
Schlep is also German, from Schleppen to drag.
I say “ let’s build more!”
it was poltergeist
