7/10. Threw on King Kong, MnMs, and Lewis Carroll.
I recognized Galbraith as Rowling's pen name, and I knew that Dickens was his real name, so that left Carroll and Conrad. My though process was somewhat along the lines of: "Well, if it was Carroll, I would have heard of it, so it must be Conrad."
Well if I knew taipans were venomous snakes in Australia, then I would’ve picked it since we all know that everything in Australia specifically evolved to kill humans.
Questions fell nicely for me today, got the 10/10, albeit not quite fast enough to top my friends leaderboard
Particularly grateful that question 9 was the only bit of Morse code I know 😅 And loved the inland taipan question, I'm a bit obsessed with snakes so I knew the answer before even seeing the options

Famous last words, I guess.
Had to guess on the morse code question and didn't feel great about the Chinese inventions question but I did it.

4/10
kinda embarrassed that that is my highest score
Terrible showing today.
Had no clue about the authors, the M&M's, when King Kong was released, I don't know Morse Code and misclicked on the venomous snake :(
