That would have been a great idea honestly. Almost every day has at least one pop culture question and it would have been fun to find a way to incorporate that into a politics theme.
Guessed the last question right, purely by thinking it was the only one where the ruler was called emperor. (No idea whether this is true, but it worked out for me.)
I was totally sure that Johnson was the first mayor of London when they introduced the direct election. I knew Livingstone served as mayor, but assumed that he must have been the successor. 9/10
Good job. You did way better than me. But, the Byzantine empire was also ruled by Emperors, so you did kind of luck out on that one:) I did not, as I went with the Byzantine Empire. Whenever I have a 50/50 shot, I always go wrong. Good thing these aren't true/false tests.
Back to 10/10, this was definitely my kind of theme 😁 Was slower than I should've been on question 8 though, the year was a big clue.
Also the notes for question 4 are interesting, turns out I've been getting the First and Second estates mixed up for years. Good thing the question was about the Third 😅
8/10 - Living in London in the early 2000s helped me remember Ken Livingstone, but it didn't teach me that the political parties have themed colors in England. I thought purple would be cool, but I guess the Conservatives aren't cool. (I also don't know anything about Japan.)
purple is UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party), further right than conservatives... always found that weird... with Labor being red and Conservatives blue, you'd think purple would be right in the middle...
I think the specifications that the emperor is elected by 7 princes is debateable, as some of the electors were archbishops. At least it should be changed to prince-electors.
yay! my question got featured! (question 3). I think that so many people got it wrong as it is not the same as the usa. thanks so much for choosing to feature my question.

On the other hand, I visited San Marino over the summer and it was absolutely breathtaking and I would highly recommend going!
