It’s probably easier to make high-quality themed quizzes than non-themed quizzes. It gives a constraint that forces creativity. Plus it’s probably really boring putting these together every day, so changing it up a bit probably makes it more enjoyable to construct. 🤔
Can we submit theme ideas the way we can submit questions? I think that would be fun! If you want (just to make sure people are engaged and not spamming themes), you could make a requirement that anyone who comes up with a theme has to write one or two questions for it when submitting their request.
I can’t recommend that book enough. It’s great for learning about the Dust Bowl, and it really makes you feel for the Okies. Not a super happy read, though. 🥺
Second Dimby. Among the classics, one of my favorites. I'd recommend reading it alongside the Great Gatsby too, two books from almost the same era that show widely opposite views of American society.
I've never read it, but I may have to. The movie is great! I'm currently reading The Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie, and some mad, apocalyptic business is afoot.
It had to be cherries but I didn’t know that was how they are harvested. I was looking for olives in the clues! Cool to learn something and I enjoy the themes.
8/10. Missed the last 2. I don't like missing the first two, because then I feel like I'm going to do really bad. And I don't like missing the last 2, because then I think I'm going to get 10/10 and I don't.
Drat, fell at the last hurdle again because I forgot what a drupe is, kicking myself 😆 Couple of lucky educated guesses in there too though, wasn't at all sure on pomelo or Japan
I think that the themes are cool, but not much fun for me if the theme is about something way before my time, like the 1989 theme from a few days ago. I prefer themes like this though, that aren't bound by age.
Wow 10/10 9,888 best score of all time, gotta love fruit. I feel like I've just taken so many quizzes and seen so many interesting facts on here that I knew most of the hard ones and for a couple it was kind of just intuition
Some bad logic from quizzers if only 25% went for peach as the drupe. It's clearly the odd one out as the other three have many seeds. Botanical terminology usually focuses on reproductive morphology.

This is your BEST SCORE all-time!
8/10
I don't mind themed quizzes.
Edit: they are in fact the smallest of the citrus fruits
