Got the 10/10 but it was a very close call today. Never heard of 7 Years in Tibet, and I very nearly went with Michael Jackson because of how much he stood out from the other options 😂 Educated guesses on the last two questions as well
Ugh. Another clunker. I was going to pick Narwhal but my brain completely glitched when I saw whale shark. I thought it was a type of whale because I always forget whether it’s strictly a shark or a whale, and that made me doubt narwhal since it IS a whale. I gotta stop missing questions when I really know the answer. 🪦
Wikipedia says about Finland "some authors call it Scandinavian due to its economic and cultural similarities." It is now PC to refer to Lapland as Samiland or Sapmi, since "Lapland" is considered offensive by the Sami people (again, from Wikipedia). At least I got that question right.
Yet another frustrating 9/10 day. It's been a week since my last 10/10, a week of frustrating 9/10 and 8/10.
Today it was because of Halley's comet (or better said because of my lack of confidence in my first choice for answer! Second guessing is what's getting me too often)
*dead = said
Lapland isn't confined to northern Finland either. It's a region that spans parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia.
The clue has been amended.
8/10
I missed the question about cetaceans.
I never remember those names in English, cetacean, crustatean, gastropod, etc.
