SORRY WHAT??? PEOPLE VOLUNTARILY GET NAILED TO A CROSS IN THE PHILIPPINES? 😭

From a quick search in Google... Yes, they do. But it's not something that is done everywhere in the country, though. It's NOT like in every city or town you will see people getting nailed to the crosses.

The weirdest thing, though, is that the Catholic leaders in the Philippines actually frown on those crucifixions, having exhorted those volunteers to stop doing that, and show their faith and devotion through charity work.

there's even a Filipino man who's been crucified a total of 36 times as of today.

Bilbys look pretty cute, like a cross between a rat & a hare.

"In over a dozen areas in the country, penitents were nailed to wooden crosses while others whipped their backs bloody as an annual ritual for thanksgiving, penance and prayers.

Ruben Enaje, 64, took the lead role in the tradition in San Pedro Cutud and was nailed to the cross for the 36th time after carrying a wooden cross weighing 27kg (60lbs) for nearly 2km.

The grandfather of seven said he had to make adjustments to the cross he carried to make it lighter from the original weight of 37kg.

In the nearby village of Sta Lucia, 60-year-old Joselito Capili was nailed to the cross for the 20th time."

Interesting contrast to other religions of the world.

10/10, but for some reason I really took my time on that Last Supper question. And the last question. That was somewhat of a guess.

Got the 10/10, going to a religious school prepared me for some of these, lost a bit of time with an educated guess on the last question though. And the Easter Bilby sounds adorable.

8/10, 7,927. It was a toss up for me between Leonardo and Michelangelo, and I picked the wrong one, and I thought the Philippines would be far too developed for such barbarism, although I've heard about that before.

Did anyone else get their highest score ever?

Am flabbergasted.

Felt like I was thinking forever about the Jesus age, and guessed on Bilby. But I'll take it! Never broken the 10k level before. Not humble brag, just shocked. 🤣

Missed the first two and thought I was in for a very, very bad score. Got the rest, though. Is it just me, or does it seem like #1 and #10 are most frequently the hardest questions.

10/10....only guessed on #8 and #10 (easy to eliminate 50% of the choices) - helps being raised Catholic (not anymore), have traveled to SA, been to a lot of art museums in Europe. Didn't get my dopamine of leading the LB.

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! 🐰

9/10, I have fallen at the last question (hesitated between Bolivia and Philippines and chose wrongly), and will not be resurrected to get a perfect score unfortunately. Not today at least. Maybe in three days.

Easy peasy.

You got 10 of 10 correct

With time bonus, your score is 9,905

You beat or equaled 100% of test takers

This is your BEST SCORE all-time!

As an active Christian for over 45 years, I knew all of the Bible facts. Living in New Zealand, Australia is a three-hour flight away and I knew about the Australian Bilby. Men nailing themselves to the cross in the Philippines was in my memory banks somewhere!
