8/10 didn't know the skeletons or the oompah loompahs. I think I've seen 100% correct for the first time on the Titanic question. Got the gilgamesh question right by being a fan of Johnny Flynn and Robert MacFarlane.

is it not a common misconception that the titanic crashed into an iceburg only, and there was already a fire/explosion in the engine room which was the main cause of the problem??

I can't find any source claiming there was an explosion.

You may be thinking of a coal fire that happened on board the Titanic about a week before its maiden voyage. Some have claimed that this fire weakened the Titanic's hull enough for the iceberg to be able to sink the ship, but those claims are widely discredited (not least of all because the fire was in a completely different part of the ship to where the iceberg hit).

The accepted answer for #10 seems to have changed since the quiz went live. But my score hasn't adjusted correspondingly. Is that supposed to happen if question errors are corrected?
