Kicking myself for selling the poirot and photosynthesis questions — they were the only ones I missed today and so painstakingly obvious after I clicked the wrong answer
Dang well you're not alone on the photosynthesis question. I'm actually among the one percent who guessed volcanoes, because I thought it was a trick question...
Yeah I guessed that one right only because I'd heard of the other three companies, and I took a guess they wouldnt also be in charge of a massive social media app, so it just left the company I'd never heard of
Ah, Dangit. Missed Richard. Picked Norman Conquests too fast. My subconscious must’ve thought it was William defeated Harold, and then Richard was also somehow involved. 🤔
Regarding this question, I would remove the hundred year war because it can be mistaken with this one: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Hundred_Years%27_War
Yes I’m a nitpicker, yes I’m trying to justify my mistake :D
9/10 again today, and this one was a tale of two guesses for me. Probably should've got the TikTok one but ignored my instinct and went for the more Chinese-sounding company; made up for it on the last one where I narrowed it down to Baldwin or Banderas and guessed right. All in all, can't complain haha
My record 10/10 streak will remain at 3. Never saw Dark Knight (loved Tom Hardy's work in Peaky Blinders, though!) and I'm not familiar with the spouses of Alec Baldwin or Antonio Banderas - chose wrong, though I probably should have guessed it would be Baldwin.
9/10, 8,720 #6 on LB.....as usual! I generally hover 4-7 on my 11 friend LB with infrequent forays into the top 3 and or the bottom 3. Missed the Twilight thing....
Yes I’m a nitpicker, yes I’m trying to justify my mistake :D
ending up with 7/10
That’s where the legend will arise
And he’s flying
Higher, the king of the sky
He’s flying too fast and he’s flying too high
Higher, an eye for an eye
The legend will never die
