That is pretty funny.....although I was in college during Watergate and I lived in San Clemente where his 'Western Whitehouse' was. In fact, a bunch of us, TP-ed his beach and were chased off by the SS....my youthful political demonstration days. And now I'm doing it all over again! 😱
The movie one was also the only one I missed. Because I didn't see any of them except for The Matrix. I didn't specifically know about the cats, but did know that Hemingway lived in Key West. And I was obssessed with horses when I was a kid. Tom Thumb is just pretty common general knowledge.
Only one I didn’t know was Tom Thumb… had to use deduction there. I sang The Battle of New Orleans and noticed a conspicuous lack of thumbs, and I knew Tom Thumb wasn’t one of the famous Antarctic explorers. I luckily guessed that a poet wouldn't go by General Tom Thumb.
Pretty slow by my standards, but I managed the 10/10 here, albeit with a few lucky guesses. Had no earthly idea about Tom Thumb (although that is the name of a bar in my city lol), and I'd be lying if I said I was confident about Sticky Fingers too. Dropped time points on a few others but those were the main two that gave me trouble.
It just lifts my heart right up that volcanoes are erupting everywhere like the first gunshots of a war that has been too long delayed. Come, Armageddon!
I was choosing between Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway, like so many others and chose wrong. Had no idea about the state.
Weeps.
