I think the comics question is more a genre rather than like some anime character. True on the movie, but it was a pretty mainstream blockbuster. Although the Doomsday Book was more a country wide census and property rights rather then conquests. Nonetheless, William the Conqueror.
I'm sorry.....Oxford definition of pop culture: "Modern popular culture transmitted via the mass media and aimed particularly at younger people." I don't follow mass/social media and I'm not 'younger'. However, a 'film noir' quiz I would do well on which is an iconic genre in moviemaking, as well as certain areas of history, art, classis literature, philosophy, etc. Madonna was pop but now iconic because of her lasting accomplishments and body of work. Just means that some of us don't follow the 'pop' trends of the moment. Forgive us😔
P.S. The Simpsons are iconic at this point, I've just never watched one episode

It's the lowest answer percentagewise, but doesn't answer B at least sort of work for question 7? I thought of the Tibetan Book of the Dead (and didn't bother reading the next answer). I'm not familiar with the text itself, but the concept of an underworld probably wouldn't be in there. Also calling it Chinese is a stretch, maybe even sacrilegious? So maybe not...
My first 10/10 in awhile! I did pause on vellum and Book of the Dead questions but really just to make sure. My score was not in my top ten so slow morning.
I really can't stand you people sometimes

Small 🥔
An alledgedly elite (but notably bloodthirsty) town to the north of us had a bookbinding class when I was young. They kicked me out bc I wasn't local.
There we like 3 elderlies and the instructor.
Let's call the town Doinker-Briston Holler.
They were famous for celery and ice.
