7/10 for me. Funny isn't it how you pick answers you know are wrong, because you don't know which of the others is right.

Picked Limerick although it's 5 lines and 64 squares although I know a Scrabble board has more than a chess board.

I had know idea on the language, picked Zimbabwe; I'm pretty sure Congo and Senegal still have french so that was a 50/50 that went wrong.

Hannover was definitely before Windsor but I was just checking myself who the Stuarts were and that they came after the Tudors and not before but got there in the end

So relatable. I pick Haiku, because it has 17 syllables, and 14 was close enough to 17.

8/10 today. I've never played Scrabble and I couldn't decide if Hausa was Senegal or Niger

9/10 just got the scrabble board wrong. Was debating between 225 and 161 and picked wrong.

Neither 151 nor 161 (which wasn’t an option) have an integer square root.

Guessed Niger for the Hausa question as I know it's the largest ethnic group in Nigeria. Figured Niger was the only country that bordered Nigeria in that list, glad my deductions were correct.

I went with Senegal because they elected some "anti-colonial" president last year.

Niger of course had their government overthrown by the military but I didn't know they changed the language.

Not a good day... Didn't read the poem question right - LINES, not WORDS - not a Haiku...

Dynasty was a 50/50 decision for me and I picked the wrong one.

Managed the 10/10 at 9,864, dropped about 50 points on the scrabble question though, I think that may have been my slowest ever correct answer, and I was not confident at all 😅 All of the other questions were fairly comfortable for me though, thankfully

7/10. I learned 3 things today and if anybody ever asks, I will know that Hausa is the official language of Niger, Hamburg is the northernmost city of Germany and there are 225 squares on a scrabble board.

Hamburg is the northernmost city in Germany of the options given, it's not the northernmost city in Germany, that would be Flensburg.

7/10...I picked Senegal for the French>Hausa cuz I thought France was mostly in NW Africa, thought Frankfort was the most north, and Madame Curie did not discovery X-rays.

Living in Germany helped me on two of those. Obviously I know which city is furthest north and an x-ray is a Röntgenbild 😁

8/10, Q5 was a 50/50 between Marconi and Montessori, had no idea on Q6, guessed both wrong. I knew all the others except 10, where I reasoned that since Senegal was mainly Wolof, Zimbabwe was mainly Shona, and I thought Kongo, Swahili and Lingala were the main (non-French) languages of the DRC, plus Hausa was one of the three biggest in Nigeria (along with Yoruba and Igbo), it should be Niger.

Wow, wait, Rontgen actually means X-ray in Turkish. I would seldom wonder why they call it Rontgen in Turkish, but turns out, it was named after the inventor! I learned something new today. 4/10

It is Röntgen in most languages. Those that use x-ray or something similar are the exception.

(English has the word Röntgen too, but not sure if it is in use, not in every day speech anyway and either way only for the radiation and not the photogrpah, I think..)
