the bistro question was a little weird, it can be referred as a place that sells beer too, maybe even a restaurant with a formal dress code in some cases. But fun quiz
well apparently not, my grandfather owned a bistro and it is originaly a bar (so that serves beer) that sells you cheap food so that you can drink more. the primary fonction is not the food but the drinks, it just happened to get "bobo" and be concidered recently for selling food
The one I got wrong was the Japanese cooking show. I picked omakase in Q9 because it had the same ending as kamikase and eliminated the wrong answers on Q10 having to my shame never watched American Psycho.
bistros are basically bars that happens to sell food sometimes so the answer is really unclear caus "sells beer" is also right (i'm the granddaughter of a bistro owner in france)
I'm Turkish but that also confused me a bit as bistros here sell both alcohol & food. But they are usually also like cute cafés in a way so I ended up picking the right option as it felt more specific
These two comments, on the other hand, couldn't be translated but there's some reference to Telugu, do I'm assuming it's Telugu written in Latein letters?
I was cruising through the first 8, complete guess on Q9 and I have not seen American Psycho. That's my miss today. But then again, missing the final question is hardly a rarity for me.
Got the 10/10 today thanks to a couple of lucky guesses, was not at all confident about the antipasti or the Japanese cooking question, but fortune smiled on me today, 9,887
I started playing "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant," opened the daily quiz, and proceeded to miss the question about Italian restaurants. I don't actually eat at them!
Man, I suck at culinary stuff. It's impossible to learn this stuff unless you happen to live in western world and come from an affluent family, I guess. I haven't even heard of some of this, and have never seen almost any of it.
In France, you can buy beer in a bistro. Selling drinks was the original purpose of this type of modest business.
Bistros have evolved over time, offering simple dishes, to become trendy places for Parisian bobos.
Nevertheless, changed it to "selling beer, not wine", which is clearly not what bistros are about.

"This DTC was a little difficult, I don't know much about restaurants and cooking. I got 7/10."
Should I keep doing this?
maybe you meant prosciutto?
Pure luck in the last two, the japanese phrase and the movie.
With time bonus, your score is 9,840.
A few guesses needed.
Btw. I don't know Gordon Ramsey, but aren't all celebrity chefs harshly critical? (Therefore didn't even consider that answer when taking a guess.)
