Oooh, so close to a 10/10, lost on the last one (never heard of Waltzing Matilda)

Used to sing that as a child although I'm a Brit not Australian.

10/10- we sang Waltzing Matilda as Canadian Girl Guides - also Kookaburra-

Always thought this was a funny choice for a children's song since as far as I can tell it's the story of a thief who chooses suicide over being arrested. But yeah, my kids loved it.

Yeah, I put Land Down Under, had no idea what Waltzing Matilda was

I think you had to watch 'The Man from Snowy River' or 'Crocodile Dundee'

7/10 which could have been 8/10 if I'd read the question right; I was surprised to see red/green colour blindness was the answer thinking "huh funny, I always thought that was more common in men" duh 🤦🏻.

I didn't know the country on the white sea or what river runs by Washington d.c.

You and me both! I completely read the question backward, landing me squarely in the (as of now) 5% who answered "osteoporosis." 🤦‍♂️
+2
Level 53
Oct 8, 2025
Ha ha, I'm in that 5% too.
+2
Level 76
Oct 7, 2025
I was slow on that one, because I double checked if I read it correctly, because I know it is easy to get questions like this the wrong way around.
+6
Level 95

I read it backwards, too. I wonder if dyslexia is more prevalent for men?

Level 64

10/10, couple guesses in there, but overall definitely was on the easier side to me. Continuing my good run as of late!

I mass-consumed them yesterday, knew them before but had only done like 4. Now I did them all.

Gosh, I've never seen a question on the daily quiz where 100% of people have got it correct!

(I've also not seen my score beating 100% of players before, but I'm sure both will change by the end of the day 😂)

Haha. I've seen days where there is 0% on all of the answers (c'mon, sometimes you're so bored you spam-reload the tab when it is 12:00 EST (I think)😅)

9 from 10, didn't know Harrison's main instrument so I was never gonna get his secondary one
+2
Level 71
Oct 7, 2025
" Other than guitar, what instrument did George Harrison play on several songs for the Beatles?"

Emphasis on 'Other than guitar'.

+3
Level 47

His guitar gently weeps. but that doesn't help you with the secondary.

9/10 today. I got 10 right but I think thunderstruck would be better for the modern times. Relax, it’s a kiwi thing.

9/10 for me today, narrowed #6 down to a 50/50 between type 1 diabetes and colour-blindness, but guessed the wrong way this time.
+2

Colour-blindness was a lucky guess

10/10. slow 10/10 but I'll take it. I really hesitated over Ebola for some reason.

I'd like to make a protest. Down Under is DEFINITELY considered as an unofficial national anthem.

From Wikipedia:

“ "Waltzing Matilda" is a song developed in the Australian style of poetry and folk music called a bush ballad. It has been described as the country's "unofficial national anthem".”

Down Under - nah!

10/10 Another quiz all in my sweet spot, slightly slow on thinking through Q3, on Q6, I recalled that my manager & one of my brothers are color blind. Satisfying quiz day....

I lived through it. Nixon bought the Western White House (previously the Elmore Estate) in San Clemente where I grew up & worked for the Elmores as a teenager. My dad was his local photographer for 'family' events. Nixon was a very local guy in Southern California. Outgrew his underwear when he was elected. Or maybe he shrunk

You beat or equaled 95% of test takers

You are #1 on your friend leaderboard!

This is your 6th best score all-time

First 10/10 in a while. I'm not particularly fast, or particularly knowledgeable so when I get a perfect score without guessing any it's pretty awesome. Though it looks as though this was an easier quiz than usual

Easy 100%. Makes up for tomorrow when I will only get 4 out of 10, I predict.
