First 10/10 in a week, 9,912, feels good 😁 Took a bit of time on the initialism, but generally speaking they all lined up pretty nicely for me today

Also, is it just me, or does the inclusion of Pangolins as an option for question 9 feel like a cheeky South Park reference? 😂

Level 61

Same (well 9906). The initialism slowed me down a bit. I'm taking my time after getting burned a few times recently by answering before reading all the answers or carefully reading the questions.

Yeah same here, a bumpy run tends to temper my haste haha

What's your reference to South Park and pangolins? It's not funny. According to the WWF they are the most trafficked mammal in the world, mostly China & Vietnam for the 'medicinal' value of their scales, and meat. Endangered.

There's an episode of South Park where, in-universe, it's revealed that Covid was caused by one of the characters "interacting" with a pangolin. They make a whole time travel arc out of it.

I just watched two South Park YT segments on the 'interaction' of Randy with both a bat & a pangolin, and the Wuhan source of Covid-19. Humour is a choice, I prefer wits.

Is it not also a COVID-19 reference???

Acronyms...I keep seeing car plates with 'DMZ' around where I live, and it's triggering me...

Also, how did more people get the Y.M.C.A than the MSG?

I mean, most people would know what MSG is, it's purely what people (should) know, whereas music artists and movies is more knowledge that accumulates over time.

Question 7 was pretty mean:

SCUBA is not a French abbreviation, although the device was invented by French people (Cousteau and others).

So, I hesitated a bit, but got it right in the end.
