Very fun...Q10 was totally off the wall for me. However, we ar having at least a 30-year weather event with winds/rain/surge in the Olympic Peninsula, WA. So, I'll have a fun night watching NOAA and the various weather sites.
Thank you for the concern....neighborhood lost power, some old roofing blew off my garden shed. Big weather is in the Strait of Juan de Fuca impacting international vessel traffic and container cargo carriers, vessels were advised to stay offshore. 50-60+ western winds over the Pacific drove the normal western current slamming into the strait. Calming down now, but more coming. We are in the tsunami zone, there is a flood plain at the Dungeness river but it isn't much of a risk, it just adds more water to the Strait! 😊
9/10 for me today, I'm pretty good with aliens and sci-fi, but that last question had me stumped. I knew it couldn't be Proxima B (that's a star, so if it passed through our solar system we'd all be dead lmao), but I'd never heard of any of the others but Shoemaker, which is what I went for (I think that's a comet?).
Was also a bit puzzled by the "little green men" question. I guessed Ukraine because I know Crimea was in 2014, but I'm not sure I understand the reference.
People in green uniforms just showed up and didn’t identify who they were or why they were there. They took control of Crimea and it was annexed by Russia as a result.

Was on track for a top 10 score for myself too.
