I got stuck on the Hope Diamond question, because I recently watched Now you see me, now you don't, and got it confused with the Heart Diamond. I was wondering where 'Veronika Vanderberg' was on the options list...

I'm in the part of the venn diagram where I only got the question right and didn't comment... wait, now I'm not, because I just commented it...

Interestingly, The Terminator was supposed to have a twist ending of sorts.

In deleted scenes, after destroying the Terminator in the factory, we see workers in the early morning finding the chip from it and sending it to R&D. Then after Sarah is loaded into the ambulance the camera rises up to reveal that the building is owned by (gasp!) Cyberdyne Systems.

It was part of a thread where Sarah wants to find Cyberdyne and destroy them to prevent the war (which was later used in T2), but instead they inadvertently lead the Terminator there, causing the war to happen in the first place.

This is an English language feature. It is deliberately centered on events and people known to native speakers of the English language, and will remain so.

Managed the 10/10, nice bit of redemption for yesterday haha, 9,902. Nice mix of questions today, had a few where I was really rapid (two 996s in a row) but the back half gave me pause for thought. The Hope Diamond I really had to think about. Should've been faster on the Venn diagram though, it's capitalised for a reason 😆

Terminator I would say does have a twist ending, where we learn that John is Kyle's son. So I went with fight club, which I've never seen.

IMO, question 6 was the easiest for me because of its "unfortunate" history.
