2/10 I was scaling pretty well before I maniacally incorrectly answered 8 questions in a row

Oof. Rough day for non-Americans.

This was a very hard one for me, very lucky to get the 10/10, at a pretty slow 9,813. High-speed rail and Nvidia CEO were complete guesses, and the crop took a lot of working out (I figured avocado was a bit of a trap because they're from the tropics, and the other two are mostly produced in Europe if memory serves)

8/10 Nuts to mountains and my sister-in-law's parents' avocado orchard outside San Diego for throwing me off. Who eats that many pistachios?

9/10 Helps to have been born, raised, lived in Southern California, kinda unfair to a lot of JPers. There are a LOT of avocados grown in Temecula, there USED to be a lot of oranges (Orange County), and BIG olive crops in Imperial Valley....did not know pistachios tho.

Not too tough for a Californian. Took a stab at pistachios but that was more a process of elimination.

The infamously bureaucratic French and British combined to build the Chunnel for $15 billion in today's dollars. We've spent $17 billion for high-speed rail in California and managed to get some environmental impact plans approved. We need to do better.
