9/10 didn't get the dough, although I might have if I'd said it out loud, I was thinking Baklava is made from filo pastry, so went for macaroons, the one I didn't know.

The dessert listed in the quiz is macarons, not macaroons. Confusingly, they are two different sweet treats and neither uses phyllo.

8/10: Last two questions killed me. Don't know the song and never heard of Retinol. Weird as the first seven questions felt extremely easy and the 8th, I got on an educated guess.

Yeah, I've never heard of the song either, but I figured to pick which one of the options was from the Empire State, so I managed to get it right. phew

Now I looked up Mary J. Blige and she's from the Bronx! So it's a good thing I didn't know that and picked Alicia Keys, who I knew was from Hell's Kitchen. phew phew!

It's funny, I know the song's lyrics incredibly well and still went with Rihanna over Alicia Keys. I suppose it goes to show that knowledge *of* something doesn't necessarily translate to knowledge *about* that thing.

Never seen filo pastry spelled that way?

There's actually a popular brand and some off brands that spell it that way.

Phyllo is the older, more original, spelling based on the greek word for 'leaf'. Filo is just a simplified version (some people need that, I guess).

Could decide between Chapman and Princip. Went wrong for 7/10

Princip shot Franz Ferdinand, leading to WW1. Maybe that’ll help next time although knowing that, I still guessed incorrectly.

10/10, with 9,886. Needed somewhat lucky guesses on Wimbledon and baklava (the latter mostly because I've never seen it spelled "phyllo", only "filo"). A bit surprised by the low percentages on the vitamin question though, learned that one in school.

Why are we giving vitamins new names??

We're not. One is a 'common' name one a more 'scientific' one. Just the same as most animal or plant species, which also have two names. While common ones can vary with different languages, scientific ones usually do not.

9/10, skyrocketed through 1 to 7, had no clue about 8. 9 and 10 were pure guesses too.
