"What is the only major island that has NEVER have been fully controlled by a single country?" I think it should read: "What is the only major island that has NEVER been fully controlled by a single country?"
Ah, you can never forget Bambi! Remember when spring comes, the birds & bees & rabbits all get twitterpated.....practically got the movie an 'R' rating!
I use it all the time. Well, not all the time. But once in a while. usually when I see bunnies outside and they're jumping all over the place and look like they're fixing to twitterpate.
As a member of the Interesting Facts Group, I can clarify that in this case, 'major' is objectively referring to all islands with a size greater than one square kilometre (which is roughly 0.4 square miles for all you Americans out there)
9/10 I don't play Angry Birds but got it thinking of 'When pigs fly', then banged through Q9....what the heck is it with the Q10s? I want a stat that shows what question number is the nemesis of all the 9/10 quiz scores...there's something suspicious here.....
The last question is excellent trivia, although "major" is doing a lot of work there. You generally need some objective measure as a cut-off to define a group: the only island with a population of at least 10,000, etc. But it's interesting information nonetheless.
A solid 9/10 - happy. I missed Q5. I live in the Oceania region so got New Guinea pretty easily. Used to play Angry Birds when ti first came out so new about the pigs.
With time bonus, your score is 9,880.
Plus no idea about angry birds and it was obviously too long ago that I watched Bambi.
Maybe “which of these islands has never been…” would be more objective.
