Maybe, but I didn't know her (or her hair style). All I knew was that one of the people is a man (Malinin) and another one is dead for more than 50 years (Henie), so these two couldn't have won anything in the 2026's women's figure skating. I thought there was some successful snowboarder called Liu and therefore picked Glenn.
Pretty sure I was seeing her in most of the news channel for some reason I can't remember now. Even right now I keep getting recommended of her 1 video on YouTube even though I have no interest in skating or haven't saw any winter Olympics news related stuff. Weird algorithm.
I think it has more to do with elimination. Had not heard of Liu myself, but could rule out at least two of the other options immediately (one being a man, the other one a winner about 100 years ago).
7/10 Thought that aardvarks are related to capybaras, therefore must be from South America. Twice picked the wrong one when I already had narrowed it down to a 50-50 choice on questions 6 and 8.
Nice 10/10 for me today, 9,913, was rapid on most of them but had to slow down to avoid hitting the wrong Bob and to do some rudimentary translation in my head for the last one
It's crazy how much these quizzes affect my mood. If I do worse than 50% of test takers, I am miserable for a good 5 minutes or so. Today, I got 47% with a 7/10.
Also, I get 3/10 more often than 10/10. The knowledge of this statistic made my day a little worse.
As an Argentinian, I find the first question completely offensive. It's a very sensitive topic, and I advise you to study it before asking such a trivial question. I suggest you research who controlled the Falkland Islands from 1820 to 1833 and then reconsider your question. Completely out of line; a little humanity and empathy wouldn't hurt.
It’s literally a factual statement. There is nothing that should be offensive about that. Also, the islands were largely uninhabited during most of that period. There were multiple failed attempts at governing the islands before the British returned to reassert their claim that had been made around 60 years earlier.
lots of 'pop culture' saved me on this one
