The story is basically about this kid, Tikki Tikki Tembo, and their sibling, who has a shorter name, and they both fall into this well. The kid with the shorter name falls in first, and when their mother calls for help, she just says the short name, and the kid is saved and lives, but then Tikki Tikki Tembo falls in and when the mother calls for help, she says the full name while trying to get help.
