Coca-Cola used to contain cocaine. But it wasn't much. The original recipe had about 9 milligrams of cocaine per glass. For comparison, a typical cocaine addict consumes about 900 milligrams per day. By 1902, the Coca-Cola formula was changed so that only minuscule traces of cocaine remained, and in 1930 these traces were eliminated entirely.

Regarding #699, apparently you can buy coca tea in Peru that contains the equivalent of about 4mg of cocaine. Some people say that this drink is much better than caffeinated beverages for providing energy without nervous jitters. Will it ever be re-legalized in the United States?
