The fact is, when the Spanish colonists came to settle in New Mexico, they originally named it Nuevo México (Spanish for New Mexico) after the Aztec Valley of Mexico – not the country of Mexico. I’m kind of angry that this one was the one chosen out of all of the other facts. Seems like my least factual one too, and the other ones I submitted I liked so much more.

Looking into it further, by the time this was submitted, I had 3 other facts with more likes than this one.

I even elaborated on this fact which should’ve been used instead of this partially true statement, but oh well
