Regarding #1142, this is pretty unfair to Jong-nam since his half brother Jong Un actually did get to visit Tokyo Disney on a fake passport as a child. (Fact #871)

Perhaps the regime was embarrassed that Jong-nam got caught. Or perhaps it was the shame of having a Disney adult in the family.

I can't find a great source for it, but apparently Japan's vegetarian diet stunted growth. Before eating meat became common, the average Japanese man was tiny – only about 156 cm tall (5'1").

Tangentially related, but I highly recommend the book "Shogun" which is set in Medieval Japan.

Norfolk, NE was originally supposed to be Norfork, named after the "north fork" of the Elkhorn River. When the name was submitted for its establishment, the postal authorities thought it was a misspelling of Norfolk and corrected it. The locals still pronounce the second half of the name like "fork", though.
