If you have 23 people in a room, it’s more likely than not that one of those people shares a birthday with another.

This is known as the Birthday Paradox, something we can prove with Maths but something our brains struggle to understand

The fact is interesting but I'm afraid your sentence is a bit broken. Let's say your fact like this:

In a room of 23 people, there is a probability higher than 50% (50.7%) that two people share the same birthday.

This is known as the Birthday Paradox, something which can be proven by maths, but is still difficult for our brain to understand.

(Interestingly, for 70 people, the probability rises to more 99.9%! But you would need 366 people for the probability to be 100%!)

Rednex had trouble finding an appropriate American folk song to turn into a dance song to get a follow-up hit… so they made up their own song that merely sounded like an American folk song. Old Pop in an Oak was totally fabricated to seem American. Americans didn’t buy it, but it was a hit in Europe.

In the Cretaceous Period, much of the US South was covered by light seas. Marine sediments made up of ancient dead shells and skeletons built up layers of rock. When the seas retreated, the rock weathered and made fertile soil. Fast forward to the 18th and 19th centuries and this soil becomes prime land for cotton growth. Slave plantations were established, and once the slaves became freed, they were poor due to Reconstruction failing and all, so that is where they stayed. Today, since Black people tend to vote Democratic, those sediments influence elections. North Carolina flipped Blue in 2012, and Georgia in 2020
