Third cousin is a pretty distant relationship, it just means that one of your great-great grandparents is the same. There probably isn't much of an elevated risk of genetic problems in the offspring if the two parents are only third cousins.

Chris, Pat and Terry are shortenings of different names that happen to begin the same. Chris = Christopher / Christine, Pat = Patrick / Patricia, Terry = Terence / Theresa. I have never heard of Kelly being used as a masculine name.
