It took 33 years from when planning first begun. It took 6 years to actually construct. And the $350million was also for heaps of other infrastructure upgrades in the area. This is what happens when people only read clickbait headlines.

Six years for a two-mile bus lane is much better. Thanks. I'm sure more "Clickbait readers" will point out that it's the same time that a rail and road tunnel under the English Channel was actually constructed, but UK and France are known for their cooperation and lean government bureaucracies.
