An "ARkStorm" is a weather event that happens every 150-200 years in California. The last one, in 1861/62, dumped nearly 10 feet of rain on parts of the state over a period of 43 days. If a similar storm happened today, it would cause an estimated $725 billion in damage.

An interesting fact I just learned:

Volkswagen's most produced, and best-selling product is... Their own brand of currywurst sausages!!! (Volkswagen Originalteil, which translates to Volkswagen Original Part).

They even have their own part number (as any of their car parts does): 199 398 500 A.

Also, adding on about Volkswagen, Hitler was the one with the idea to create the company.

It wasn't the idea of the company itself, but the idea of mass-producing an affordable, simple (easy maintenance) car for the common German: a Volkswagen (People's Car).

The DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront, German Labor Front) created the company only when a group of engineers led by Ferdinand Porsche brought a feasible mass-producible prototype (the Type 1, the beloved Vochito).

Said in other words, had Porsche never proven the feasibility of the Type 1, we wouldn't have the Beetle, nor Volkswagen... nor their currywürste (which somehow made it into my wishlist).

If you are phobophobic, it means you fear fears, meaning you shouldn't fear fearing fears because if you fear fearing fears, you will have the fear of fearing fears and you will fear the fear of fearing fears because you fear a fear, and if you're phobophobic, you fear fearing fears.

424 - "6 times longer than the distance between Earth and Pluto" is one of the strangest measurements I've read. With Pluto's odd orbit, the distance between it and Earth varies from about 2.66 to 4.67 billion miles. So is it 6x longer than the nearest distance, and therefore only 3x longer than the farthest, or 6x longer than the farthest distance, but nearing 12x longer than the closest?

I would love to do genealogical work for eSwatini's country to see what percentage of the population really does descend from that king, because it would be fun where the majority of the country is related to each other.
