The French architect Le Corbusier once proposed bulldozing much of Paris and replacing it with a uniform grid of 60-story apartment towers surrounded by park space. Just one of the many reasons why you should hate modern architecture.

In 1728, a mason left a ladder by accident in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem. It is still there today. This so-called "immovable ladder" can't be moved because any changes to a Christian site in the Holy Land require the approval of six different Christian communities.

Thankfully, there is a limit to how big insects can grow. Why? Their method of breathing makes it difficult for oxygen to reach all parts of the body. But this wasn't always the case. 300 million years ago, there was much more oxygen in the atmosphere than there is today. The results were terrifying: Dragonflies with a wingspan of 3 feet and millipedes over 8 feet in length!

I kid, I kid.
But, seriously, modern architecture sucks.
Not sure how I feel about replacing it.
The important thing is that it would be gone.
