17th Interesting Fact Selection

Submitted by IFGroup on December 9, 2025
Yep, it's that time again...and I'm not just talking about Christmas. I'm talking about the Interesting Facts Group's 17th Fact Selection! For the final time this year, we will review all the best and most-liked facts in the group and present them to the Quizmaster. Who knows, maybe he'll add some to the pages as a Christmas gift to JetPunkers!

If you're already a member of the IF Group, go and start liking the comments with the best facts! Leaving likes on those facts is the most important thing you can do as a group member, and we really appreciate everyone who takes the time to do that for us. Remember to click the 'load all comments' button so you don't miss any great facts.

If you aren't a member yet, you can join the action by clicking here and joining the group!

And don't forget, anyone who knows a really good fact and wants to see it appear in future selections can leave it in a comment in the group for other users to like as well.

So go like those facts, and have a happy holidays!

The first few look like the generic interesting facts found all over the place, however that last one is new to me. When you join the group, I'd suggest that fact be the one you present. It's pretty interesting.

the best way to find quality facts is not by googling “interesting facts” or “cool things people don’t know” or “interesting things about ____”. the best facts are found naturally, things that hit your ear right and make you think, “what?” “oh that’s kinda cool” “that’s odd, i want to look into that a little more”
