Challenges question

Submitted by LuckyCat on November 18, 2025
Is there a way to Challenge friends on a quiz that I have already taken?

I know you can distribute Challenge requests after you take a quiz, but once you leave the page or refresh or etc., I don't see a way to Challenge anymore.

This is a little annoying, because I don't want to retake a quiz to have to initiate a Challenge. Is there a way to do this without retaking the quiz? I'm curious.

Thanks!

You can have them take it in person. And if you dont see them in person, just bug them about in on Messages or discord or something.

I think I like the idea of only being able to initiate a challenge immediately after taking a quiz. Otherwise you could just challenge someone on any quiz you've ever taken with your best performance. If you want, you can just compare your stats with your friends' stats under the friends' stats option.

On the other hand, it could be a great way to get your friends to take a quiz that you see they've never taken (I've noticed before that my friends haven't taken a certain quiz before that I'd like to recommend for them).

I mention my first point however because it seems to be that most people just want to flex their scores when they do challenges rather than recommend/share a quiz. So I know if this option was added, I'd get tons of challenges from people just sharing their best scores, which would be annoying.

Well its called a "Challenge" and not a "Share" button for a reason. It's meant to be a social feature where people can compare scores and see if other people can get a better score. I would just like to see it where we can challenge people even after we take the quiz. Yeah I guess its a share feature, but thats what a challenge is, youre sharing your score. so I think making it to where you can do this even after you leave the quiz should be fine.

You can already compare your score with your friends under friends’ stats. I know I frequently check those stats under quizzes.

So the point isn’t just comparing. It’s highlighting your score and sharing it to someone else to get them to take the quiz. And I imagine that’s the point of QM’s implementation: to increase traffic.

So yes, it’s called “challenge”, but people have been using it as a “look how good I did” on a quiz that they didn’t even bother to look and see that I already took. So I would be annoyed if people started sending their scores on popular quizzes that I’ve already taken, when they could have just looked at “friends’ stats”.

However if people just forget to hit the “challenge” button, yes, I agree it would be nice to implement it for that reason. I’m just raising a point as to why I think it could be a bad idea. I’m not however saying it’s outright a bad idea.
