Country connections

Can I ask why the Singapore to Malaysia border is never considered (in these quizzes) as well as Bahrain to Saudi Arabia. It always bugs me that Morocco is somehow connected to Spain but these ones with actual roads aren't connected... I've gone from Malaysia to Singapore I know how easy it is why is it not connected at the end of Malaysia??
