Do have a favorite film director?

To count as a film director they have to directed AT LEAST 5 full-length (over 60 minutes) theatrical films. They DO NOT have to be currently alive. They DO NOT have to make English-language films. Documentaries DO NOT count as films. Animated films DO count as films. It DOES NOT matter is they are also a screenwriter or producer. For the director to count you have to have seen AT LEAST 3 of their films.

My favorite director is Tim Burton. But I also like Wes Anderson and Christopher Nolan.

Also, for the director you pick, what is your favorite film of theirs (that they have directed)?

Also, what do you think is their most underrated film?

For me Edward Scissorhands is my favorite film of his. And I think Big Eyes is the most underrated.

They do not have to be currently alive???? Anyways, I don't mind, I prefer George Lucas' Revenge of the Sith.

George Lucas has directed exactly five films during his career. So he does count. And I agree with you that that is his best film.
