(Random question: For those who live in other countries, do you call it a driver's permit or no?)
My dad had to renew his license today, so I figured I'd take my knowledge test too (I had taken it once before but lost because of one wrong answer). I had to get 24/30 answers correct.
Anyways, big things coming for me. Super excited.
People in Australia need a learner's permit to learn to drive, and when they finish driving ??? hours, then they get a 'P' plate. And eventually a full driver's licence
Here in the UK we call it a provisional driving licence.
Firstly you have to pass a "theory test" probably similar to your knowledge test. This is before you even get behind the wheel with an instructor.
You can only drive with someone that already has a licence and is over 21 until you pass the proper driving test.
You can't start learning until you are 17, unless you are disabled then it is 16.
