Let's hope 2026 will be a much nicer and more comfortable year. 2025 was chaos upon chaos.

Well to be fair that's been a common theme throughout the 2020s so far.

From what I can remember, ever since COVID began, it seems that world news has been filled with negativity. It's exactly for this reason that I don't watch news anymore, something I used to do every day many years ago.

Is there reason to hope 2026 will be better? I don't know, but let's hope nonetheless.

Plenty of good news about, its just that news agencies now rely on advertising, to get more revenue they need more readers. Bad news sells, good news doesn't.

I'm the same as you, I used to buy a newspaper everyday, but when it got to the point that all I was doing was the crossword, and not even bothering to read any news, I thought it was time to stop buying.
