How fast can you type?

Just curious, how many wpm can you do (on average)?

I think I'm around 65.

90 definitely. 100 on good days.

100 give or take if I’m typing an actual sentence, on a jetpunk quiz it’s probably a lot higher just from muscle memory

I've never checked, I suppose it depends on if my fat fingers are working correctly. Do you mean words that actually make sense?

According to that website, I am at 30 wpm, but that was with copying their phrases, I think i'm probably faster than that when I type what I'm thinking. I don't need to keep looking at the screen then.

I suppose I could set up a timer for one minute, and then just type as I would when writing a blog, and count the number of words.

The problem is, I don't really care how fast or slow I type. It is never going to be a requirement for my current or any future job, so it doesn't really matter that I only type with just two fingers most of the time. It works for me.

If you're comfortable with it, that's all that matters, though I will recommend learning to touch type if don't already know how to, it's super rewarding and satisfying!
