Maryland here, i'm chilling, i had a pretty fun snowball fight, and I managed to take some good photos. School is still off for now, surprisingly. I guess the snowstorm truly did hit. Also it seriously doesn't look much of a big deal now, it just looks like extra snowfall.

I'm in Australia. Wait, what's snow again? The thing that Tasmania got on Christmas (in Summer) (unfair)?

I'm in the UK and we sometimes get the tail-end of anything the Eastern US gets. You have a hurricane, we get strong winds. We've just had a lot of rain causing some severe flooding around Cornwall, and some wind in the rest of the country.

The Meteorology bods are calling it Storm Chandra, whether it's connected to what you've had over the pond is debateable.

I work retail so, as you could imagine, it was absolute chaos. Not only was it all people would talk about but there were so many panic shoppers. It was literally as busy as Christmas. The other day, once it actually started snowing, I was the only one in my department until the afternoon since everyone else was snowed in and I have snow tires on my car and live relatively close to my job. At a certain point I was just going “can it just snow already? I’m seriously sick of this crap.”

On a more serious note, whenever we get a major snowstorm like that, I always worry about all the homeless people here since whenever there’s a snow/ice storm like that where I live, you always hear about a couple of homeless people who get stuck out in it and die. Messed up stuff.

I am still off of school. We got around 14 inches of snow here in West Virginia. It has gotten freezing cold with temperatures not to get above freezing until February 2, and it will be colder after! The snow is hard on top and really soft and powdery on the bottom.

A little snow story: Yesterday I was taking care of my chickens and had to get them food. After I gave them food, I dragged the food bag back to the "Chicken Shed" (Where we keep the feed) and I saw something out of the corner of my eye. I continued to put it away before something flew in front of my face! I was scared stiff, heart almost stopped. After looking for a little bit, I found it was a tiny bird who tried to escape the snow. I also had a staring contest with it. (True Story)

Fairly bad in Ohio. My friend's university moved classes online for the entire week, which I thought was interesting since we didn't even have a snow day at mine.

Most roads still aren't fully cleared.

South Carolina resident here: Sadly, no snow. They keep reporting that there's a small chance of snow but so far, the snow is a no show :(

I was eagerly hoping for snow down here on the coast but not even a flurry. It's cold as heck though. I thought for sure the upstate would get some.

Here on Long Island we got 8 inches which is like the most in 7 years. We only got one day off from school :(

I shoveled like crazy though

How did that result in only one? I have the entire week off, and another winter storm is to potentially hit my area again!
