How should "JetPunk" be pronounced in spoken English? Is the stress on the first syllable ("Jet") or the second syllable ("Punk"), or are both syllables stressed?
Also, is it pronounced differently if it's used as an adjective (e.g. "JetPunk quizzes")?
The word sounds better to me with stress on the second syllable ("jet-PUNK").
Inflections of the word ("JetPunking", "JetPunker", "JetPunked", etc) all sound better to me with stress on "Punk".
For example, the letter K normally just makes a "k" sound, but when it comes after an S (e.g. in the word "sky"), it makes more of a "g" sound rather than a "k".
Also it's not just English. Virtually all languages break their usual pronunciation rules every once in a while.
"No... there's no stressing on JetPunk... only positivity..."
