How to Delete Empty Cells on Quiz

Submitted by stephenn on July 30, 2025
I'm trying to get into quiz-making instead of being a selfish jetpunker and only taking quizzes haha!

I just created a quiz, but I must've messed up the formatting somehow because there are a bunch of empty cells and I can't figure out how to hide/delete them. I figured I'd have to click the 'Hide Cell' button, but that doesn't seem to fix the problem.

I deleted all the columns in step 2, but so it's probably something on step 4 that's causing this?

Any advice?

It's easiest if I just show you. Go to Create and click on the collaborated quiz (highlighted in yellow). I've shown you there. It'll just say "Quiz Title"

Thanks!

Do I have to entirely re-do the quiz? Whenever I try to use the method, it just splits the existing table up into 6 different groups. It doesn't split each column by continent.

If you want to you can collaborate with me on it and I can look at for you. If you don't want to I totally understand it's just sort of hard to explain.

Alright so what I would do is delete all the columns on the right. Add a column before the answer column and then type the continent the country to the right belongs to.

Example:

South America: Argentina (the same as the quiz I collaborated with you on)

This might take a while but it will work correctly in Step 4 if you do that (99.9% sure of this).
