I have a suggestion for the Message Board.

I have noticed that when creating threads, there is no minimum characters required. In my opinion, I think that that contributes to low quality threads on the Meassage Board. I think a minimum amount of characters of around 50-100 characters would get the job done.
I have recently seen a thread with the only text being a lonely '.'
(Also can someone explain what a Meta post is?)

Nice idea. I think a meta thread is a thread explaining what a thread is. Idk, that's what reddit said.

A meta thread is just a thread about the state of the message board (e.g. Recent Message Board Events)

To be fair, I disagree, sometimes the title of the message board post is all that needs to be said

The message board doesn't need to be high quality it's a place where people ask questions and get answers to them
