If you're new to the Magazine, here is a rundown:
The JetPunk Magazine (click the link to read them!) is a blog series where I, LuckyCat, your producer, publish a new Magazine blog every few months or so. Essentially what it is is an organized paper discussing things that happened on JetPunk over the past few months. Things like new features to the site, projects of the community, shoutouts, etc.
What makes the Magazine special is that YOU, the reader, get to write your own article entry for the Magazine! Yep, that's right. If you so desire, you can write something, share it with me, and I will add your very own article into the Magazine. Things to note about this:
- It should preferably be related to JetPunk, at least a little (please).
- You only get ONE article entry per Magazine blog, so make it count!
- It should not be very long. I won't make a limit, but please don't share your school essay with the community. Make it enjoyable to read.
- Use common sense. You know what is appropriate to share :)
If this sounds interesting to you, let me know in the comments. Unfortunately, with the deletion of JetPunk Groups and DMs, I will have to change up the way I go about this community project. I have created a placeholder blog for ideas which you can look at, so go check that out before you commit to an idea. The ideas in that blog are ones I will be writing about. You can instead get creative with what you write. Just try to pertain it to JetPunk at least a little.
EDIT: I made a Discord server you can join as well, if you so please. Not mandatory of course, just a place to come together. Here is the link.
If you have any questions, ask away. The Magazine is a pretty massive project that I contribute my time to. I'm proud of the work, time, and effort that I and the community pour into it. Thanks for your support, and I hope we can continue to make it the best it can be!
Unlike last time, the Magazine will be published the week of June 8th for the Summer Blog Project hosted by cathlete. I'm excited for this twist, and hope it all goes swimmingly. Until then, I'll be working hard. Thanks to all.
