JetPunk Magazine Info
If you're new to the Magazine, here is a rundown:
The JetPunk Magazine (click the link to read them!) is a blog series where I, LuckyCat, your producer, publish a new Magazine blog every few months or so. Essentially what it is is an organized paper discussing things that happened on JetPunk over the past few months. Things like new features to the site, projects of the community, shoutouts, etc.
What makes the Magazine special is that YOU, the reader, get to write your own article entry for the Magazine! Yep, that's right. If you so desire, you can write something, share it with me, and I will add your very own article into the Magazine. Things to note about this:
- It should preferably be related to JetPunk, at least a little (please).
- You only get ONE article entry per Magazine blog, so make it count!
- It should not be very long. I won't make a limit, but please don't share your school essay with the community. Make it enjoyable to read.
- Use common sense. You know what is appropriate to share :)
If this sounds interesting and appealing to you, join the JetPunk Magazine Group here! This way, you can get ideas and get to know your fellow writers.
Also, if you join this group, check the pinned comments. That is where I state the JetPunk topics that I myself will write about. If you decide to write an article for the Magazine, please have the courtesy to not write about something that was a major topic, addition, or subject that was recently introduced to JetPunk. I need something to write about too! My goal is to note the big happenings on the site, so leave the big subjects to me. I try to put those in the pinned comments in the group, but I may forget. So instead, get creative with your article entry! Talk about something that interests you, you like, etc. Just try to add a little JetPunk sprinkle into it for the audience. Read the previous JetPunk Magazine blogs for further reference.
If you've done all this before, go check the group to see what I have pinned. If you want to start writing your entry now, feel free!
If you have any questions, ask away. The Magazine is a pretty massive project that I contribute my time to. I'm proud of the work, time, and effort that I and the community pour into it. Thanks for your support, and I hope we can continue to make it the best it can be!
Like last time, I don't have a set publication date just yet. I am trying to space them out so that each blog is within its respective season. So, this edition should be out sometime in late March or early April. But don't bet on it.
