JetPunk Poem Promenade - The Return

Then you might already be in the know.

I plan to write more for this abandoned piece,

So lend me your ears, will you please?

It's been a while since the last episode,

I left my soul on that lonely road.

Writing is what I love to do,

And I want to share it with all of you.

/

So I'm here to bring this promenade back,

But I guess there's still a lot to unpack.

Let me tell you what I have in mind,

Or for those who remember, let me just remind.

/

This series is a place to share your thoughts,

In poem form, so connect the dots.

You can read them here, I so suggest,

And if you missed a few, then go read the rest.

I let the community write their part,

With each lovely line coming straight from the heart.

But that was all so long ago,

Now I want to get back into the flow.

/

If you like what you see, then consider this,

This comeback is something you don't want to miss.

If you don't care that much, it's okay,

Save your ideas for another day.

/

I had a group but deleted that too,

So now I'm going to try something new.

If you plan to write, do it in private,

It's better this way so no one will know it.

/

What I mean by this, I should explain,

Having a massive group was sort of a pain.

This time around, we will keep it discrete,

From others who write something, at least.

/

You can write in a blog, if you're able to,

But if not then a quiz works just fine too.

Maybe even discord if you have an account,

Or in a private group so I can keep count.

/

Wherever you choose to share it with me,

Make sure I know and that I'm able to see.

If you don't want to write, don't feel obliged,

This is all for fun, no need to provide.

/

I might give a date for them all to be due,

Then put them in a blog for all to look through.

That's why it's called the promenade,

So we can all observe what others create.

/

There are no limits to what you portray,

Just keep it PG for the kids as they say.
