they definitely got too political. eloquent, maybe i’ll give you that. but he also would overreact to so much stuff, like if somebody made a joke at his expense, especially one he didn’t get, he would go on forever in a self-righteous rant about how this joke wronged him and how terrible it must’ve been for him not to have gotten it
